From April 2-4, our mining law partner Tiago de Mattos will be among the speakers at the 17th Biennial Special Institute on International Mining and Energy Law, Development and Investment. The event, promoted by the The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law and the International Bar Association, will address a wide range of legal, regulatory, policy and investment issues for lawyers, companies, governments and other actors in the natural resources sector, as well as aspects of development, operations, management and energy sustainability.
On this occasion, Tiago will participate moderate and speak in the panel Investor-State-Mining Arbitral Disputes and Critical Minerals – The Emerging Lex Mineralia in the Era of Energy Transition alongside Alfonso Rebaza, Daniela Vergel Riascos and Mayra Bryce Alberti.
